Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information RATED uses to run profiles, multiplayer games, purchases, and age-eligible features.
Information you provide
Profiles include a name. Standard guest players provide a first name and last initial for the current room. If the device does not provide an age-eligibility result, an adult may confirm that they are 18 or older when requesting an age-restricted feature.
Game and technical information
RATED processes room codes, player identifiers, votes, game progress, category choices, purchase entitlements, and basic request data needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
How information is used
We use this information to maintain profiles, run games, determine eligibility for age-restricted features, recognize store purchase entitlements, prevent misuse, and support the beta.
Earlier beta information
Earlier beta versions may have collected an account email and communication preference. New profiles do not require an email address. Existing email records remain subject to this policy and any unsubscribe choice.
Service providers
RATED uses infrastructure providers to host the app and database. Resend may continue to process email information collected by earlier beta versions. Apple or Google Play handles age sharing and store purchases under its own privacy terms. RATED does not receive your birthdate or the age range shared by the platform.
Retention and deletion
Profile information is retained while the profile is active and as reasonably needed for security, legal, and transaction records. You can delete the RATED profile from the Profile screen. Deletion removes the profile and its active sessions; records that must be retained by a payment provider or by law may remain with that provider.
